Ham and Swiss Quiche

My husband is a big fan of quiche.  I've made a combination of different kinds, but this one was his favorite.  The difference with this one, was that a can of evaporated milk was added, and made a really creamy and consistent texture, making all the ingredients come together nicely.
The recipe was adapted from www.verybestbaking.com

Ham and Swiss Quiche

Paired our lunch with a fresh medley of strawberries, blueberries, and grapes.
Recipe:

1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup chopped, cooked ham
2 green onions, chopped
1 can (12 fl. oz.) evaporated milk
3 large eggs
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of salt and pepper

PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees F
Combine 1/2 cup cheese, ham and green onions into pie shell
Mix together evaporated milk, eggs, flour, salt and black pepper in large bowl.
Pour mixture into pie shell.
Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup of cheese.

BAKE for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
